MG Entry Level Two Door Electric Car - MG Air EV Lunch Confirmed in India
The MG Air EV will be an electric car with an appreciable range and a high feature set. It will use a 25 kWh battery pack with a range of around 200 km and will use a single electric motor setup. The motor will deliver close to 40 bhp of power. Besides this, it will also come with connectivity options and a rotary knob for drive mode selection.
The MG Air EV is set to make its debut in India in early 2023. The car will join the MG ZS EV as a mass-market electric vehicle. It will cost under Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom and compete directly with the Tata Tiago EV. It will be the brand's entry-level electric car. It is based on the Wuling Air EV which has already been launched in Indonesia. MG is expected to launch the MG Air EV in India at the 2023 Auto Expo.
