While the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE and Mi 11 Lite 5G are very similar, there are some significant differences between these two phones. The chipset is different in the 12 Lite 5G NE. The model number of the device, 2210129SG, was also discovered in a database of IMEIs.
In terms of cameras, the device has four cameras. Its main camera is a 50 MP f/1.8 camera with a 0.7um PDAF sensor. Its selfie camera is a 32MP sensor with support for 1080p@30/60fps video recording.
If the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE has a Snapdragon 778G, it may be a Chinese version of the Mi CIVI 2. Currently available in China, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor. Its price and availability in the United States is unknown.
The phone has passed the FCC certification process and is slated to go on sale soon. Its launch date has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to arrive in November. The device is expected to come in three different configurations - 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite NE 5G also comes with a microSD card for more storage. It has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90-Hz refresh rate and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE 5G is expected to retail for Rs24,999 in India. It is expected to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, and face unlock support. The phone is expected to launch in December 2022 or 2023 and will be available in two colours - Gold and Black.
