Tecno POVA 4 Revealed In Advance - Full Specs, Features, Price and More
Tecno Mobile is set to announce its next-generation Pova series Android phone in India soon. The company has been on a roll lately, unveiling several smartphones in the past couple of months. Now, the brand is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation Pova 3 and Pova 4 Android smartphones in India. Although the company hasn't officially announced the phone yet, sources have revealed some of the key specifications of these devices.
The Pova Neo was launched in India a few months ago, and was the company's first 5G-enabled smartphone. It features a 6000mAh battery unit and a 120Hz refresh rate display. In addition, the smartphone ships with a front-facing camera with a 120Hz refresh rate and RGBW sensor. The smartphone was also available in two colour options, including Dazzle Black and Speed Purple. The device was priced at Rs 11,499 in India. Tecno also announced the Tecno Pova 3 smartphone in India a few weeks ago, but hasn't officially announced the launch date yet. However, a poster of the smartphone has surfaced online. The poster shows the phone's colour options.
The Tecno Pova 3 will come in two storage options, including 4GB and 6GB RAM. The phone will also come with a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. The phone will also feature a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display with a pixel density of 397ppi. It will also sport a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will also sport an AI lens and a 2MP secondary sensor. The device will also be available in Polar Silver and Power Blue colour options. The smartphone will also feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Pova 4 will also come in the form of a successor to the Pova 3. The smartphone will feature a 6-inch HD+ display and an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It will also come with HiOS 8.6 on top. The smartphone will also support 18W fast charging. It will also come with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth/ macro camera. The handset will also sport a 6000mAh battery unit.
The Pova 4 is also expected to come in two variants, including one with 8GB of RAM. It will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dual-game engine. The device will also come with 128GB of onboard storage. The smartphone will also support up to 5GB of extended RAM. The device will run Android 12 out of the box and will be available in two colours, Black and Blue. The price of the Pova 4 is expected to be around Rs 17,250 in India. The device will also be available in Bangladesh. The smartphone will cost BDT 21,990 in Bangladesh.
Tecno has not revealed any official information about the Pova 4, but industry sources have said that the smartphone will come to India in the next month. The company hasn't confirmed whether the phone will launch alongside the Pova 4 Pro model, or if it will be a standalone device. However, a dedicated microsite on Flipkart has been set up for the phone. It is likely that Flipkart will livestream the phone's launch event.
