Huawei Announced World's First Foldable Smartphone with Satellite Connectivity

Huawei has teased the world's first foldable smartphone with satellite connectivity at a developer conference. The company is planning to announce all the details on the device at the developer conference on November 5. If it is true, it would make the Huawei Mate Xs 2 the first foldable phone with short-distance communication via satellite.

The company has yet to reveal the exact specifications of the device, but it is expected to arrive in Q4 2017. The new smartphone will have a Kirin 9000 4G processor and run on the new HarmonyOS. Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong shared his thoughts on the upcoming machine. The company also teased the appearance of the device.
